At the age of thirteen, Teacher Nehm began taking cello lessons with Mr. Robert Tismo at CASA San Miguel in San Antonio Zambales. In 2007, he entered the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Conservatory of Music to pursue his bachelor's degree in Cello Performance under the tutelage of Dr. Renato Lucas and Mr. Antoni Josef Inacay.
As an orchestra cellist, he has performed with various ensembles, including the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO), Manila Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), Metro Manila Concert Orchestra (MMCO), and UST Symphony Orchestra. Moreover, he was among the five finalist in the National Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) Lower Strings Competition in 2019.
Teacher Nehm is a cellist deeply committed to the art of music, having honed his skills at CASA San Miguel. In 2019, he embarked on a European tour, performing in some of the continent's most prestigious and historic venues, including Ostend, Brussels, the Basilica di Santa Pudenziana, Milan, Bergamo, the Ateneo de Madrid, Barcelona, Fatima Church, Lisbon, Alentejo the American Orthodox Catholic Church in Paris, Vienna, Franfurt, and the Kaiser Wilhelm Church in Berlin.
